Arduino is an open source microprocessor that is widely used in prototyping robots and smart machines. It works by connecting the Arduino to simple electronic components via a breadboard, then uploading code unto the Arduino to control the components and make them behave in a specific way. In this course, students will learn the importance and uses of microprocessors, how to connect components such as LEDs, motors and ultrasonic sensors on a breadboard and how to control these components by uploading block-based code unto the Arduino.
